Join us for a special artist talk and brunch with the women artists featured in Pétits: Women Artists Redefining Scale, an exhibition presented by Pan American Art Projects.

Pétits brings together a dynamic group of women artists who challenge the assumption that artistic power is bound to monumental scale. Instead, they harness the intimate, the intricate, and the small as tools of resistance, poetry, and sharp social critique. These artists use detail and restraint to explore themes often sidelined in mainstream discourse: reproductive rights, economic injustice, domestic labor, and gendered violence.

This intimate gathering offers guests a rare opportunity to hear about the participating artists: Carola Bravo, Lorena Gutiérrez Camejo, Susana Pilar Delahante Matienzo, Paola Mondolfi, Ana Mendieta, Elsa Mora, Grethell Rasu, Sandra Ramos, Carolina Sardi, and Leticia Sanchez Toledo as they express the personal and political motivations behind their work.

Pétits follows in the tradition of landmark exhibitions like Radical Women (Hammer Museum, 2017) and Women House (NMWA, 2018), celebrating the radical potential of intimacy, precision, and feminine gesture.
