Women Who Create!
Date and Time:May 28 – June 20
Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM | Sat 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Inspired by this powerful message of supporting , we decided to bring it closer to our community. We gathered remarkable works by ten notable artists from five different Brazilian states: Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Goiás, and Paraná. Under one roof, we showcased internationally acclaimed and established artists alongside promising local emerging voices. Each artist, in her own unique way, highlights the importance and power of women’s artistic expression and the strength of their voices.
The collaborative spirit and reach of this message gain tremendous momentum through the global and inspiring movement that is WAAW, reinforcing art as an essential platform for equality and diversity. Tapestries, paintings, sculptures made from recycled paper, and mixed techniques make up this diverse exhibition, which highlights the perspective of ten Brazilian women artists on time, the body, memory, and everyday life.
The exhibition is in partnership with WAAW World, a global movement that values and empowers the presence of women in art.
Free admission until June 20. Come and experience this meeting of languages, gestures, and presences up close.
