Ab-Anbar Gallery

About
Founded in 2014 in Tehran, Ab-Anbar Gallery explores the intersections of art and history, representing artists from diverse backgrounds who navigate political, social, and psychological borders. Its name, meaning water reservoir in Farsi, reflects the gallery’s mission to create a space that nurtures creative growth and fluid artistic expression. Since its inception, Ab-Anbar has hosted exhibitions and collaborated with cultural organisations, musicians, and performers. In 2023, the gallery opened its permanent space in Fitzrovia, London, aiming to broaden the dialogue between artists, collectors, and institutions while amplifying marginalised voices.
